The Jayco Herald Sun Tour will kick off with a team presentation at Federation Square on 1 February before they head off on a 2.1km individual time trial along Southbank Promenade, crossing the finish line in Queensbridge Square.
Rising Australian stars will pit their skills against cycling’s elite, including three-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome, who will be defending his 2016 Jayco Tour win.
Get trackside and enjoy a summer evening watching a preview of Australia’s oldest cycling stage race before the teams tackle some of Victoria’s most picturesque and challenging mountain climbs over the five day event.
Congratulations to Jayco and the Herald Sun on this iconic event which brings the world’s leading cyclists to Melbourne and Victoria while providing an opportunity for local athletes to shine.
