Victoria’s volcano country will set the scene for a long day racing over 198.6km with nowhere to hide from the winds. Mt Buninyong will make for an exciting final climb finishing 5km from the finish it is sure to heat up the battle for the yellow jersey.     The Word from the Race Director “Expect a reduced bunch finish.  With the Mt Buninyong climb so close to the finish it is not a pure sprinters stage, more a day for the tough sprinters.  If they put the hammer down after the climb it could be a quick finish”
