See some of the world’s strongest professional cycling teams race around our beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens and along the banks of the Yarra River.
The City of Melbourne is proud to support the Tour with a new, free community event: Ride Melbourne. Just hours before the race, cyclists of all abilities will be able to enjoy riding the Royal Botanic Gardens course which will be safe and car free.
Reward your cycling efforts by relaxing trackside afterwards to watch the final stage of the Tour.
Join us at the start and finish line on Birdwood Avenue, which will be transformed into an event village and a hub of excitement all day. Here you can lap up family friendly entertainment, from kids’ activities to cycling safety workshops, live music and food vans.
I wish participants the best of luck and invite all cycling fans to show your support for this world class event.
