The 2015 Jayco Herald Sun Tour will again start with an exciting, spectator friendly stage through the heart of Melbourne. The 2.1 kilometre individual time trial will this time start from the stage in Federation Square with the international field having to negotiate a technical but brilliant route that will see thousands of cycling fans cheering a world class field along this stunning course.

The riders will race against the clock to see who will end the day in the leader's Yellow Jersey and take the applause from the crowd. The course has a few challenging turns and short climbs but finishes with a flat, fast run along South Bank promenade. Teams will be presented prior to the start of the KordaMentha Real Estate Prologue in Federation Square and there will be plenty of great spectator points throughout the stage.

Get yourself a front row seat at one of the many restaurants in SouthBank, relax in Alexander Gardens or feel the tension build as riders depart from Federation Square.

The KordaMentha Real Estate Prologue is proudly presented by Korda MenthaReal Estate.

Although the Prologue is only a short course, it takes in some of the best sights that Melbourne has to offer. The Prologue starts this year in Federation Square and riders catch a glimpse of historic Flinders Street Station as they cross the Yarra River. Riders turn left over the bridge and take a lap around Alexandra Gardens. The Prologue then races along the straight through Southbank, infront of some of the best bars and restaurants the city has to offer. There are plenty of places to enjoy a post-Prologue drink whilst watching the Yarra River drift by under the magnificent Melbourne skyline.
